Our Trustbuilding Program responds to Australia’s need for truth telling and deep listening to the wisdom and resilience of Australia’s Indigenous communities. We listen, learn, and stand in solidarity with First Peoples, recognizing the significance of their culture and heritage.
Working with First Peoples
The Trustbuilding initiative in Australia grew as a response to the Uluru Statement from the Heart and its invitation “to walk with us in a movement of the Australian people for a better future.” It builds on Initiatives of Change Australia’s 60-year heritage of supporting Indigenous leadership through relationships of honesty, respect and working together for change.

An evening of film, song and multicultural food
It was a full house at Armagh for the community dinner to celebrate the grand finale film screening of Weaving Three Stories.
More than 65 people joined us on Thursday 25 June, almost a third of them first timers, in a night filled with extraordinary community spirit, creativity and generosity.
