HEART OF TOORAK
The Australia-Pacific Centre for Initiatives of Change operates out of a 100-year house in the Melbourne suburb of Toorak. ‘Armagh’, once the home of the Cecil McKay family, was gifted to Initiatives of Change in 1956 to use as a base for our peace and trustbuilding work. The building serves as a residence, office premises for Melbourne-based staff, and platform for community programs, initiatives and special events.
For public events, private meetings, training and presentations in a tranquil environment, we have a range of meeting spaces available with audio-visual equipment and full wi-fi access. Visitors have access to the use of the courtyard garden. The outdoor patio areas are ideal for breakout groups, team-building activities and photography.

Nestled in the suburb of Toorak in Melbourne, Armagh has seen people from all backgrounds and cultures pass through its doors to embrace the diversity around them with joy. Visiting political leaders, waterside workers, refugees – all have been welcomed at Armagh. Guests have included Aboriginal elder and early activist ‘Aunty’ Marge Tucker and British tennis star Bunny Austin.

Access
The ground floor and outdoor areas are fully accessible without stairs. There are easy-access toilets also located at the front entrance. Parking is available for up to 10 cars onsite and ample free on-street parking.
