Creators of Peace South Australia – Rwanda Fundraising Dinner 2024

Join us for a special dinner to raise funds to support setting up CoP Peace Circles in Rwanda as well as to support the work of Creators of Peace International and Creators of Peace Australia.
Tickets:
$50 includes a buffet dinner.
Drinks are extra (BYO alcohol for a $10 corkage fee). There will be a raffle on the night so bring loose change.

About Fundraiser:
As Rwanda remembers 30 years of rebuilding community relationships since the genocide, a request has come for the revitalising of a Creators of Peace Circle outreach in the country. Healing processes are long and intergenerational, and
Rwanda struggles with other insecurities along its borders.
In collaboration with Evodia Uwimana, a young businesswoman currently chair of IofC Rwanda, the proposal is for three women experienced in facilitating CoPCs, two from Kenya and one from Uganda to visit Kigali this year, to
conduct one or two Peace Circles, thus laying the groundwork for local facilitator training later on. This is a wonderful example of regional cooperation.
While a venue is being provided freely, costs of internal travel, meals and accommodation need to be met. Donations from outside the country will be auspiced at no charge by the Mustard Seed Institute www.msirwanda.com
We hope to raise at least USD5000.
